BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, October 4 — Do you want to learn how to convert leads online like a pro? Here at DMH, sometimes our internal tasks become so repetitive that we create guidelines — something we call an “S.O.P.” or “Standard Operating Procedure” to help us keep track of a set of tasks. Because we have completed these tasks so many times for clients, we have decided to make this SOP public. This article is an SOP on How to Convert Leads Easily.

An SOP is, in a nutshell, just a list of instructions. Remember when you were in elementary school and your teacher asked you to write a list of instructions on “How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly” (or something along those lines)? Yep. Same thing.

Step One: Google Search Console

The first step is to set up Google Search Console. With this tool, you will be able to visualize your business on Google. Use this tool to help you get to the top of the search results!

Step Two: Google Analytics

An easy way to set up Google Analytics with WordPress is to install a plug-in called MonsterInsights. Simply install the plug-in from your WordPress Dashboard and follow the Install Wizard. You will need to create a GA 4 Property from the Google Analytics Dashboard.

Search “Set up a Google Analytics Property” on Google and click on the official Google site (usually the first result).

While we’re on the topic of Analytics…

There are some other tools that you should consider using:

Step Three: Rank Math

WordPress has the Rank Math plug-in that integrates easily with the user interface. Simply install the free plug-in and complete the installation wizard to complete this step.

Step Four: Install LeadConnector

Install the LeadConnector plug-in on your WordPress site and paste your API Key into the API Key field in the plug-in’s configuration page.

Step Five: Convert With IMG Funnels

If you haven’t already, sign up for an account on imgfunnels.com. Create a location and follow the steps in the Launchpad to complete your setup. Make sure you link your Google Calendar, create a phone number, and set up your email services.

Step Six: Convert Using a Content Strategy

While audience insights and targeting work wonders for businesses, many companies forget to add a content strategy. Write a blog post, post it to social media, then run your ads on top of that post. It’s important that you have some evergreen content and that you have a great offer!

DM Holdings Inc. will be releasing our official SEO Strategy hub by the end of 2022. Check out Encore SEO for more info!

You can’t just run ads and expect an online presence. If you own a brick-and-mortar, you can sometimes skip the blog and just go straight for social media. Every business is different. What works for one business might not work for another. Post some content, gather feedback, and strategize!

Convert, Convert, Convert!

While you can use a landing page or a funnel to convert leads, consider using an Instant Form. The Instant Form was first introduced by Facebook sometime around 2017 and it has proven that it can produce leads at a lower CPL (or “Cost per Lead”). Because the form shows up instantly and the user is unable to access the content behind the form until they fill it out, many publishers will use a “lead magnet” to get users to fill the form out, collect their info, and place them in a workflow in IMG Funnels.

Last but not least—and this is important—your business should not be hard to find.

If you have a physical address or location (residential or commercial property), you should go ahead and set up local listings with Yext Listings, Moz Local, or BrightLocal to get the most out of your local prescence. Convert leads easily in-person by using Instant Forms and workflows in IMG Funnels.
